What is the Lobster Bar, and how is it different from Chops upstairs?

The Lobster Bar is our downstairs dining room, added in 1994. It has a more dramatic character - a barrel-vaulted herringbone ceiling and ceramic arches that evoke New York's Grand Central Oyster Bar. The menu is the same as upstairs. The setting is not.

Is the bar open between lunch and dinner?

Indeed it is. On weekdays, lunch seating ends at 2:30pm and dinner seating begins at 5:30pm, but the bar remains open throughout the afternoon. Guests are welcome to stop in for a drink during that time.

What is the dress code at Chops Lobster Bar?

Chops is a destination restaurant, and we ask that guests dress to match the occasion. Smart casual or better is the standard - collared shirts, slacks, blazers, and dresses all fit in well. Please leave baseball caps, graphic tees, gym or athletic wear, sweatpants, men's tank tops, and beach footwear at home.

What are my parking options?

Valet parking is available at the restaurant, and validation is offered to help offset the cost.

Can the restaurant accommodate my allergies or dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. We regularly accommodate a wide range of allergies and dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free requests. Please let your server know when you arrive, and our team will guide you toward the best menu options for your needs.

Do your listed hours show when the restaurant closes or when you stop seating guests?

Our listed closing times reflect the final seating time for each service. Guests seated at that time will have time to enjoy their meal without feeling rushed.

Is the restaurant family-friendly? Do you have high chairs?

Yes. Families are welcome at Chops Lobster Bar, and high chairs are available upon request. We recommend noting this when making your reservation so our team can prepare your table accordingly. We also offer dishes that work well for younger guests.

Are reservations required?

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends and for larger parties. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available, but a reservation is the best way to secure your table.

Does Chops Lobster Bar offer private dining?

Yes. We offer two private spaces. The Plaza Room, located upstairs at Chops, accommodates up to 40 guests seated or 60 guests for a standing reception. The Boardroom, located downstairs in the Lobster Bar, accommodates up to 18 guests seated for more intimate gatherings.
